BRIGHT Run – Breast Cancer Research in Greater Hamilton Today
     February 03, 2010

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian women. In 2008, the Juravinski Cancer Centres Breast Cancer Research program held the first BRIGHT Run to raise awareness and funds to support breast cancer research in Hamilton. It was a huge success and has become an annual event.

The 3rd annual BRIGHT Run will take place on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. OCOGs own BRIGHT Run team, Making the Mark has set a goal for number of team members and funds to be raised. Our BRIGHT Run Committee is busy organizing several events and activities to raise funds.

If you are interested in joining or supporting the OCOG BRIGHT Run Team, please contact the Chair of our Committee, Beverly Pond at pondb@mcmaster.ca.
